Decorating with Wood Stools

Adding a new, sustainable wooden stool to your home is an easy way to incorporate warm, natural tones into your décor.  Use them as seating for kids or adults, as side tables for a living room sofa, or as a place to show off a special work of art or unique artifact.   All of Natural Wood Decor’s stools and end tables are made out of durable woods that would look great either indoors or out — but if you’re going to put them outdoors, we recommend taking one precautionary step.  Rubbing teak or tung oil into the stool will help maintain a healthy luster and prevent cracking, and it’s a natural way to make the wood more water-resistant.

Twist wood stools give any space a special organic flair with their signature graceful lines and rich hues.  Use them to spruce up a foyer, or to add drama to a living room or study as either storage or seating.

Many of our pieces are available in a variety of shades, as well.  A light, whitewashed vine stool, for example, can help open up smaller spaces and give them an airy feel while adding valuable surface area or seating.  They’re also go well with cool color schemes, such as light blues or greys.

Light and dark colored stools, such as the Teak Block Stool, look best in spaces dominated by warm tones.  The clean lines add a nice modern touch to just about any space from dining room to den.
